Mindful Movement Classes
Classes vary each week exploring mindful modalities including pilates, yoga, and balance sequences.
8-9:15am $20/class $85 for all 5 classes

Enjoy and explore a new class with a fully certified instructor each week. All classes will be beginner level with mindful modifications for safe, efficient movement.

Sunday March 3
MELT Your Heart with Nancy Burke (register)
10-11:30am $25/class

This 90 minute workshop will focus on relieving stuck stress in the head, neck, and shoulders to restore internal balance, rehydrate the fascia, and relieve tension resulting in increased circulation and relaxation.
The MELT Method is a self treatment using small balls and soft rollers to reducing stress & pain by rehydrating the connective tissue(fascia) and rebalancing your autopilot(nervous system).

Nancy Burke is a fully certified instructor of The MELT Method, NASM and ACE Personal Trainer, NASM Exercise Programs for Older Adults, Nia, Fall Stop…Move Strong, and Exercise for Parkinsons and Alzheimer’s.

Mindful & Mediterranean Meal Planning with Luci Crow (register)
10-11:30am $25/class

This 90 minute workshop introduces three principles to begin a mindful eating practice integrated with a simple guide to Mediterranean meal planning to reduce inflammation and refocus on whole food choices.

Luci Crow, MS, RD is registered dietitian and practitioner of mindful eating trained as a facilitator for Am I Hungry as well as intensive programs with registered dietitian and author of Intuitive Eating, Evelyn Tribole, MS,RD.

Sunday March 17
Guided Meditation with Mary Ann Stuart (register)
to relax, refocus, and rebalance your heart
10-11:30am $25/class

A mini retreat and guided exploration of meditation techniques to help relax, rebalance, refocus, and refresh your mind, heart, and energy.

Mary Ann Stuart is a life time practitioner of mindfulness meditation as well as Transcendental Meditation for last 30 years. She is a 4th Degree Reiki Master Teacher trained at Cumberland Institute of Holistic Therapies.

Saturday March 23
Beginner Tai Chi with Rusty Rust
10:30-12noon $25/class

This beginner workshop will explore the principles of Tai Chi and learn the 8 pieces of brocade Qigong set. Participants will practice learning The Bear and Tai chi walking.

Rusty Rust is a CranioSacral Therapist and a senior level Tai Chi instructor who has been teaching Tai Chi in Nashville TN for over 20 years.

Saturday March 30
Mindfulness 101 with Mary Agee and Karen Pilkerton
10:30-12:00noon $25/class

This one and half hour workshop will be a deeply nourishing opportunity to get a basic introduction to mindfulness meditation and some understanding behind the research about the benefits of a regular mindfulness-based practice. We will explore movement and sitting practices, unpacking the foundational basics and noticing what arises.

The teachers for this course, Mary Entrekin Agee and Karen Pilkerton, both come from a deep embodied experience of personal practice and have been teaching mindfulness for years.
